Peter joined The Weiner Company in March, 1996 as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, Peter is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, including financial accounting, human resources, and information systems.

Peter was previously the Corporate Risk Manager at Lotus Development Corporation for 8 1/2 years. During this time, he worked closely with The Weiner Company to create a comprehensive worldwide risk management and insurance program for Lotus, including the negotiation and management of the company's property, casualty, automobile, workers compensation, and various multi-dimensional liability programs. In addition, Peter managed all corporate safety and loss control activities, worldwide claims administration, compliance with regulatory agencies, and corporate contingency planning efforts. Prior to assuming the full-time job as Corporate Risk Manager, Peter served as Manager of Treasury Operations at Lotus for 2 years, along with 6+ years in various treasury management positions with AMCA International (now known as United Dominion Industries), a $1.5 billion multinational corporation.

Peter's experience at Lotus now provides us with a valuable "customer perspective" on the variety of insurance and risk management issues we seek to resolve for our customers every day.

Peter received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Government Studies from Bowdoin College.
